ATLAS requirements for VOMS generic attributes

• The Generic Attributes will be used in ATLAS to define nicknames
• Each member should have an associated nickname
• It should be possible to configure the system to accept/manage only unique Generic Attributes (nicknames)
• Each nickname should be
  • Suggested by the system during the approval phase, on the basis of the AFS or NICE username at CERN of the member, and confirmed by the VO Manager
  • Visible by the users after their approval
• Only the VO Manager should be able to modify the nickname, at any time
  • When a nickname is modified, a notification email should be sent to the user by the system
