Installation

In the following we specify what you need to install your own WMSMonitor instance for your cluster of WMS/LB services and how to do it.

At the moment two releases of the software are available: the latest is the 2.0 and the previous is the 1.3.

Version 2.0 provides more features and works only on SL4 (or binary compatible OS) WMS/LB.

New features in 2.0:

• New top navigation menu
• Per user statistics
• Resource usage statistics, i.e. number of matched CE per job and name of matched CE
• Dynamical VO discover of jobs/users
  
• New VO statistics plots
• Improved custom plots
• Support for high port communication to allow inter cluster monitoring
  
• Load balancing metric and metric components plots
• DB analyzer utility that can send notification to a nagios server implementing mail and sms notification
